I started photojournalism in Iran from 2009. I and my co-workers were facing many difficulties and obstacles while covering protests and strikes. I have been arrested several times due to my working activities and unfortunately, it is a common situation in Iran and we get used to it. In October 2012 people of Grand Bazaar of Tehran, had a stroke for the sudden increase in the currency rate. I’ve been sent there by the agency to cover the incident and got arrested for some hours. They kept my camera and I got it back after a week. All of the photos had been deleted. This was one of my worst memories of my professional life. After that, I tried really hard to continue my photojournalism career but it didn’t last more than two years after.
These photos are the remaining ones of recovering flash memory of that day and it’s the first time I’m publishing them after these years.
All photos published without editing and as they recovered from camera's memory.
